Approximate Cost:

Description Of Work:
Ryan Petrich and workmen painted the entire interior of my 3 bdrm/2-1/2 bathroom townhome, except closets; they also sanded, sealed, prepped and refinished/painted all of my kitchen cabinets. Ryan helped me to choose colors and finishes of paint, matched existing trim paint, and worked to oversee the entire project. He gave me a good price and discount for the work, and has extended a full warranty on the work.
Member Comments:
Rick responded promptly to my request for an estimate, and provided a very detailed outline of the costs and options. He worked with me to come to a good price that was fair to all concerned, and I was able to get my kitchen cabinets refinished and painted when at first I didn't think I could swing it. I appreciate that he worked with me on this. Ryan and I discussed different paint colors, qualities and characteristics of various paint types and finishes. He left color charts and when I had chosen several possibilities, he brought samples by and painted swatches on the walls so I could make a final choice. The following week, his workmen came and worked constantly and continuously, and frankly didn't want to stop, but kept on working to get the job done. My walls had not been painted since construction (2004) so they were very dry and it took two to four coats of paint to cover the walls well. His crew covered the floor with paper, covered the windows with glass, repaired paster when necessary, and painted, painted and painted. The kitchen oak cabinets had badly mismatched wood colors, so i wanted them finished and painted. They sealed the cracks and sanded the doors, and painted the wood cabinets with several coats of paint. The previous owner had installed her own handles and knobs, and they were often not installed correctly, so overlarge holes. The workers filled the holes and they are completely invisible now -- a great finish job. Rick Petrich called me daily to update me on the progress. At the end of the job, he asked more than once if there was anything else I needed or wanted changed or touched up. He warrenties the work his company does.

Excellent. Anything in the way that we couldn't move was moved or covered. Then after painting everything moved back. On one wall where multiple masks were hung, he even took a picture before moving so that the items could be replaced exactly as they had been. Cleanup was excellent. Anybody can do a good job painting which he did but the preparation and cleanup really made the difference for us.

They did the work a couple of months ago and I am still waiting on some parts that I messed up on to come in. They have been 100 percent. They were professional, on time and responsive. They actually went out of their way to help me out on some mistakes that I made. They are A+ all the way around. I would absolutely use them again.

Description Of Work:
Ryan really knows his area of resurfacing cabinets. He had good ideas of what I might want for the most part got it right with a bit of tweaking. My kitchen was completely wrapped in plastic and for the most part all went well with preserving the rest of my house from the mess. The work was done completely inside. I changed the raised panel golden oak cabints to an off white with staining on it. The corners were ruffed up to bring and older look. He put me in touch with a cabinet maker and we added a cabinet and shelves.
Member Comments:
Overall we are very pleased and hope to recommend Ryan to others. He is very busy and I would like to feel a bit more personal service and not feel that he is rushed so much. That being said-he did what he said he (and his workers) would do in exactly the time he said he would do it in. Start Monday and finish Friday! Overall they showed up on time with just a bit of delay but nothing that stopped the progress. Not often that you can say that! As a realtor who works with the trades often, I can say this is special! In fact after all was complete and a few things needed a touch of work, Ryan came back while sick as a dog. Wish I had known he was ill as it could have waited. So - I feel he and crew are keepers!

Member Comments:
Ryan Petrich and his crew did an excellent job. They were able to complete my project in less than 3 weeks. Other bids estimated 6 to 8 weeks.Ryan's crew was professional and worked hard. This project had the potential to be messy (removing popcorn texture from ceilings, texturizing, sanding, painting) but Ryan's crew did a great job and protected all surrounding walls, floors and furnishings. Ryan believes that prep work is important for a quality finished product. All woodwork and cabinetry was fully sanded and primed before the finishing coat of paint. Ryan's crew was careful and paid attention to detail. If something wasn't right, they fixed it. Ryan did not install the new granite countertops, but recommended an excellent fabricator and installer. He coordinated the installation details with that company to keep my project moving. If I had any concerns they were addressed immediately. Ryan clearly wants his client to be satisfied with the end product. I was very impressed that after the work was completed and final payment made, Ryan called me about a week later to ask if anything needed attention. My kitchen and living areas look updated and new. I definitely recommend this company.

Approximate Cost: $2,900.00
Description Of Work: Hardwood flooring installation for 2 rooms (337 sq
ft), repair of crown molding, interior paint, minor wall repairs, Venetian
plaster repair, faux paint touch up, can light installation of the master
bath shower, chandelier hung in the great room, moving a chandelier in the
dining room with ceiling repair and hung a VERY heavy mirror.
Member Comments: Ryan is such a great guy to work with. He's nice, professional and a perfectionist. What a rare find! It should be noted that all of the following work was estimated to
take 5 days. Instead, it was done in 2, plus a couple of hours on the third
day. How often does that happen!
Hardwood flooring installation, dining room and office (337 sq ft).
Installation price included EVERYTHING except the actual wood. Ryan
provided the labor and all materials, including glue, quarter rounds and T
moldings. The baseboards were repainted as well. All furniture was removed
and then replaced when the job was complete. This included a very heavy and
eclectic round dining table that Ryan was extremely careful with.
Dining room; in addition to the flooring, the chandelier was moved about 5"
and the resultant hole in the ceiling was patched. Crown molding was
repaired and painted. Touch-up paint on the walls was done, which included
Ryan custom blending the color to get a perfect match! I also had a large,
heavy mirror that needed to be hung. Due to its size and weight, I was
worried about my ability to hang it in a secure manner. Ryan took care of
that as well.
Office; in addition to the flooring there were areas where previous drapery
hardware had been installed. These areas did not have the faux painting
that was on the walls. Ryan was able to blend this in to the surrounding
treatment, despite not having the original paint.
Great Room; a ceiling fan was removed and a difficult chandelier was hung
perfectly in its place.
Bedroom; my daughter's room was painted pink. Ryan helped me choose the
perfect shade. Additionally, he suggested using a paint that was invisible
during the day, but that would glow in the dark or be seen with a black
light. He applied this over the pink with a splatter technique, so it looks
like there are stars all over the place at night. He even went and
purchased the black light for me and only requested reimbursement for his
actual charges.
Niche; Ryan is skilled with Venetian plaster and repaired a multitude of
nail holes.
Master bath; a can light was installed in the shower. Additionally, I had
noticed some paint irregularities in there (from the previous homeowners).
Ryan gladly offered to use his custom paint to blend the areas. He did this
simply as a courtesy and to help me out!
General; occasional wall painting and touch up, including some drywall
patches. All of this was done so perfectly, I can't see ANY transitions
between his work and the existing walls.
I am so grateful to Ryan and the wonderful job that was done. I would
HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who is considering any type of work on their
home.  Concerns? Please tell us!

Member Comments: When Ryan told me that he could get all of the above work
done in one week, I was excited. Before the work even started, Ryan told me
what he and his crew would be doing in each room and about how long it
would take. He showed me sample paint choices and was patient when I wanted
to see more. While he is not an interior designer, he had good suggestions
that I took into consideration and used. Ryan is very professional and
answered my questions through texts and emails before and during the work
process. From day one, the crew was at our house by 8:30 a.m. and
diligently worked well into the evening hours. Ryan would usually have to
tell them to stop and take a lunch break. The crew paid attention to
details (drip marks, straight lines, etc.). I couldn't believe how
different and great the bathrooms looked when everything was all done. You
cannot even tell that there had been fur downs in them. I was very happy
with each room and how everything looked new and fresh. Ryan told me to
call and let him know if we saw anything that needed to be fixed or touched
up in the week after the painting was done. However, everything looks great
even with a magnifying glass. If we need any work done in the future that
deals with painting or remodeling a part of our house, I will definitely
call Ryan Petrich to come and do the job!  Concerns? Please tell us!

Project: Cabinets - Refinish.
Customer :  "I am extremely pleased with the way the project was handled and with the results. Mr. Petrich painted the walls and trim in my entry, kitchen, and pantry, antiqued all the cabinets, and did a contrasting crackle finish on the kitchen island. He estimated that the job would take two days for the painting and five days for the faux finishes and it took exactly that (a great relief when living with remodeling). We had a miscommunication on the finishes (not his fault) but he came up with a way to fix it and give me exactly what I envisioned. I love the new kitchen and have asked Petrich Painting and Remodeling to bid another project."

Member Comments:
our initial proposal was prompt and itemized. start time was as stated and job was finished a day early. we were moved out of our kitchen and really appreciated that the job started on a Monday and finshed before the following week-end. Our cabinets were in bad shape from old paint with lots of heavy brush strokes and now they look like new. cabinets in downstairs bath were red oak and were primed and and painted white and also look great! Great attention to detail on priming, caulking and prep work. Ryan and one other person did the entire job and were easy to have in the house. the daily communication was excellent. their attention to clean-up was excellent. Ryan also installed our new cabinet hardware and adjusted some of the cabinet doors so they hung correctly again. We appreciated that they worked with us on cabinet finish and hardware placement and wanted to be sure we were happy with the result. Great pride in workmanship!

Member Comments:
Ryan Petrich Painting and Remodeling renovated my home in Leander. It is completely transformed. He removed the popcorn treatment on my ceilings and textured and painted them. The walls had awkward seems, corners and window moldings. He made my walls and windows look brand new. He removed several disturbing features, like a window in an interior wall and a cabinet on the counter that separated the living space from the kitchen. He repaired the wall where the window was, and the ceiling that the cabinet was attached to. Then the walls were textured and painted and the old wooden kitchen cabinets were painted. Next, he had bamboo floors installed for me. My house is amazing!! It looks completely different. No one can believe the transformation.
Ryan has a wonderful artistic sense and had great ideas and suggestions for me about design, layout, and color. Without his creativity, my home would look completely different. He has a lot of initiative and strives to make his work the best he possibly can. He pays great attention to detail and hires workers with specialties to guarantee the best possible job. It was always a delight to have him and his crew in my home. And, his prices are reasonable!!!
I highly recommend Ryan Petrich Painting and Remodeling.

I hired Petrich Remodeling to refinish my hardwood floors and wood banister. Proir to Ryan's work, the hardwood floors had a ruined finish and extreme cupping throughout the floors. The floors were sanded, stained and 2 coates of protectant was applied. Ryan and his team were puncutal, professional and detailed. No surpise expenses, the timeframe Ryan communicted was spot on and the refinishing turned out beautiful! I look forward to working with Ryan on my next project.

Repaint kitchen and entry walls and woodwork; faux finish kitchen cabinets and island; strip and restain bannister and newel posts on entry stairs; strip and repaint exterior doors; repair siding; caulk, weatherstrip, and repaint siding and trim on house; repair and repaint railings on extensive deck; repair and re-stain deck; stain new front door with leaded glass inserts.
Member Comments:
I began with Ryan's redoing my entry and kitchen. After having creamy white painted cabinets and island since the house was built in 1991, I decided I wanted a Tuscan look, which meant painting the walls an adobe color, putting a brown glaze over the cabinets, and using a green over tan crackle finish on the island. When the initial result on the cabinets was darker than I had anticipated, Ryan took the stain off and redid it to my liking. When the green crackle turned out a St. Patrick's green (not what I wanted), Ryan figured out how to tone it down with a dark glaze so that it was what I had envisioned. My neighbors have commented that the 19-year-old cabinets look like new. Ryan is a master at taping off what he isn't working on so that paint doesn't end up where it shouldn't be, and at cleaning up when the job is done. Next I hired him to do the exterior of the house and the deck, which needed a lot of care and attention since some of the siding had deteriorated and the painters who had done the last job had painted -- but not caulked and weatherstripped. Again, Ryan did a great job, so I asked him to strip and stain the oak railing and newel posts on the entry staircase. Another great job. I'm planning to do a master bath remodel within the next year and will certainly ask Ryan to bid on it.

Ryan is a perfectionist who takes great pride in his work. He is a true craftsman. Every detail is important to him. He approached the job with great concern about doing a high quality technical job and as an artist with great concern about the beauty. He listened to my needs and concerns and responded every time. The work was difficult and the air conditioning could not be on. Ryan always had patience, a sense of humor, and worked tirelessly. He left the house in good order with new beautiful ceilings. I highly recommend Ryan and have hired him to paint the interior walls because I trust he will do the best job possible at a reasonable price.

We were preparing our 8yr old home to sell and Ryan made it look as good as new. He was very flexible at working around the other contractors projects. Has pays amazing attention to detail and takes pride in the high quality of his work. Although we used him primarily for painting, his skill in other areas (replacing trim, regrouting, etc.) was evident. We would definately use Ryan again! Felt very comfortble having him in our home and love the work that he did!!!

Member Comments:
Ryan Petrich is very professional. He listened to what we wanted and suggested options during the bid process. This process went well with some changes until we finalized all the details. I appreciated the detailed, itemized quote of all the work. Throughout the remodel process Ryan communicated the day-to-day plans, so we were aware of what was going on. Overall, the experience was very good. It went very well and turned out better than we expected. I requested some changes as the work progressed, and Ryan accommodated the changes. The workers showed up on time and worked hard the entire day until quiting time. They were professional and paid attention to detail and completed the work properly. I recommend Petrich Painting and Remodeling.

Member Comments:
This company is great and I highly recommend them. Ryan Petrich was very prompt in getting us a bid, the price was fair and we received a discount because I found them on Angie's List. Even though Ryan's wife had their third child last Wednesday, the day they started the job, he made sure his crew was here on time and wow were we impressed. These fellows are extremely neat and fast. They prepped the house on Wednesday, worked really long hours on Thursday until 7:30 at night, hardly took any breaks and finished by 4 pm on Friday. I've used other painting contractors in previous homes, but this company is probably the most efficient and provides the highest quality work of any I have used in the past. We are very pleased; our house looks great.

Overall, it was fansistic from start to finish. The crew that came was professional and were very good. They were also very cooperative in terms of what rooms to do because we had to move items from one room to the next so they could do their painting. The crew moved the heavy stuff. Because we have a lot of picture galleries, I was reluctant to have the house painted, but they made it a pleasure. I would highly recommend them.

Member Comments:
When Ryan told me that he could get all of the above work done in one week, I was excited. Before the work even started, Ryan told me what he and his crew would be doing in each room and about how long it would take. He showed me sample paint choices and was patient when I wanted to see more. While he is not an interior designer, he had good suggestions that I took into consideration and used. Ryan is very professional and answered my questions through texts and emails before and during the work process. From day one, the crew was at our house by 8:30 a.m. and diligently worked well into the evening hours. Ryan would usually have to tell them to stop and take a lunch break. The crew paid attention to details (drip marks, straight lines, etc.). I couldn't believe how different and great the bathrooms looked when everything was all done. You cannot even tell that there had been fur downs in them. I was very happy with each room and how everything looked new and fresh. Ryan told me to call and let him know if we saw anything that needed to be fixed or touched up in the week after the painting was done. However, everything looks great even with a magnifying glass. If we need any work done in the future that deals with painting or remodeling a part of our house, I will definitely call Ryan Petrich to come and do the job!

Description Of Work:
Hardwood flooring installation for 2 rooms (337 sq ft), repair of crown molding, interior paint, minor wall repairs, Venetian plaster repair, faux paint touch up, can light installation of the master bath shower, chandelier hung in the great room, moving a chandelier in the dining room with ceiling repair and hung a VERY heavy mirror.
Member Comments:
Ryan is such a great guy to work with. He's nice and down to earth, but completely professional and a perfectionist. What a rare find! It should be noted that all of the following work was estimated to take 5 days. Instead, it was done in 2, plus a couple of hours on the third day. How often does that happen! Hardwood flooring installation, dining room and office (337 sq ft). Installation price included EVERYTHING except the actual wood. Ryan provided the labor and all materials, including glue, quarter rounds and T moldings. The baseboards were repainted as well. All furniture was removed and then replaced when the job was complete. This included a very heavy and eclectic round dining table that Ryan was extremely careful with. Dining room; in addition to the flooring, the chandelier was moved about 5" and the resultant hole in the ceiling was patched. Crown molding was repaired and painted. Touch-up paint on the walls was done, which included Ryan custom blending the color to get a perfect match! I also had a large, heavy mirror that needed to be hung. Due to its size and weight, I was worried about my ability to hang it in a secure manner. Ryan took care of that as well. Office; in addition to the flooring there were areas where previous drapery hardware had been installed. These areas did not have the faux painting that was on the walls. Ryan was able to blend this in to the surrounding treatment, despite not having the original paint. Great Room; a ceiling fan was removed and a difficult chandelier was hung perfectly in its place. Bedroom; my daughter's room was painted pink. Ryan helped me choose the perfect shade. Additionally, he suggested using a paint that was invisible during the day, but that would glow in the dark or be seen with a black light. He applied this over the pink with a splatter technique, so it looks like there are stars all over the place at night. He even went and purchased the black light for me and only requested reimbursement for his actual charges. Niche; Ryan is skilled with Venetian plaster and repaired a multitude of nail holes. Master bath; a can light was installed in the shower. Additionally, I had noticed some paint irregularities in there (from the previous homeowners). Ryan gladly offered to use his custom paint to blend the areas. He did this simply as a courtesy and to help me out! General; occasional wall painting and touch up, including some drywall patches. All of this was done so perfectly, I can't see ANY transitions between his work and the existing walls. I am so grateful to Ryan and the wonderful job that was done. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who is considering any type of work on their home.
